Zavvie will offer concierge presales services through Revive

Revive, a company that helps homeowners identify and oversee pre-sale upgrades and renovations, has partnered with Zavvie to encourage agents to promote how physical upgrades can better position a home in the open market.

Zavvie helps real estate brokers and agents access an array of alternative listing solutions and technologies through its listing optimizer. Agents can collect iBuyer solutions alongside traditional open market offerings, as well as provide homeowners with new ways to sell their home, commonly referred to as “buy before you sell” models. Knock is perhaps the most popular company in this field.

Agents can use the zavvie tools as part of the Pro platform to present alternative options directly to sellers, just as they would for a CMA presentation or listing.

“Agents who know how to put all these options on the table are just going to take market share,” zavvie CEO Lane Hornung told Inman in 2020.

At the end of 2021, zavvie added “strong buyer” options to its system. These companies provide guaranteed, cash-free, contingency-free offers to consumers trying to compete in today’s fast-paced multi-offer market. Knock provides such a solution, as do Divvy Homes, Feeasy, Flyhomes for Agents, Halo, Homeward, Landis, Ribbon and Super.

“Revive offers a turnkey home concierge service that identifies the most effective improvements before the sale, provides renovation estimates, secures and manages contractors to complete work, and bears the cost of renovations,” says the Press release.

Sellers reimburse Revive after closing.

With the integration, agents using zavvie can showcase Revive’s services in their initial pitch to demonstrate how specific renovations could drive sales.

“Buyers are willing to pay more for a ready-to-live-in home,” Revive co-founder Michael Alladawi said in the press release. “Agents have shown that using Revive to complete a pre-sale renovation can mean up to $50,000 to $100,000 more for sellers. For homeowners, getting the most out of selling their home can change their lives.

Concierge services, such as staging, minor upgrades and pre-marketing, are gaining popularity among a number of major real estate brands, including Compass, Keller Williams and red fin. Revive’s services can help independent agents and teams compete with the marketing budgets of mainstream brands.

Lane Hornung, co-founder and CEO of zavvie, said in the press release that Revive for Brokers is another tool agents need to have in their solution box.

“For brokers, if they allow their agents to offer all options to buyers and sellers – iBuyer, cash offers, power buyer, homeownership accelerator and concierge – they will also develop a new source ancillary revenue – recurring revenue – that will come from these new solutions.”
