Volcon (NASDAQ: VLCN), the first all-electric off-road powersports company, opened pre-production orders for its dealers beginning Monday, June 27 for its first all-electric, all-wheel-drive UTV, the Stag. Since then, the company has received thousands of non-binding pre-production orders which, if ultimately finalized, would generate over $70 million in revenue for the company after delivery.

With an MSRP of $39,999, dealers had to submit purchase orders directly through Volcon sales representatives. The company will continue to accept orders for model year 2023 production from dealers while supplies last, at which time Volcon will accept waitlisted orders. Le Cerf pre-orders are non-binding and cancellable before delivery.

“We made a conservative estimate regarding sales volumes, having worked closely with our sales and marketing team to identify sales targets for 2023. While we were confident in our ability to meet our pre-order targets , we were pleasantly surprised to find that we are achieving these goals at a faster rate than expected,” said Jordan Davis, CEO of Volcon, Inc. “Dealer acceptance has been strong, and it’s clear to us that the motorsports community is ready for high-performance electric off-road vehicles, and The Stag fits that desire perfectly.

On the heels of the better than expected pre-order volume, the Company has already started looking for additional solutions to overcome supply chain constraints; however, no assurance can be given that these solutions will be available to the Company on economic terms, or at all.

“The Stag has always been central to the vision of what Volcon could become. This vision became reality with the launch last week,” said Christian Okonsky, co-founder and chief technology officer at Volcon. “The excitement around the Stag has been awe-inspiring to watch, and the interest from dealers, via their pre-orders, supports our efforts to design and manufacture the Stag and build our brand. It’s all the more reason to we continue to pursue cutting-edge technology solutions by partnering with reputable suppliers, whether in powertrains, suspension components or tires. We look forward to consolidating and deepening our relationships within our base. supply chain and the broader powersports industry, and we are deeply focused on that.”
