Odisha government appoints MSTC for scrap and sales services

Bengal-based PSU, MSTC said the Odisha state government had appointed him for services and works related to the company’s various products.

Odisha State Government appointed MSTC (formerly known as Metal Scrap Trade Corporation) for the sale of scrap metal, unusable material including electronic, ferrous and non-ferrous waste, plant and machinery , condemned vehicles and any other items intended for disposal through futures auctions on the MSTC e-commerce platform.

The company will also sell a product such as ore and minerals, forest products, agricultural products, etc. through the MSTC e-commerce platform and will purchase commonly used goods and services that are not available on the GeM portal, as may be required by purchasing departments / PSUs. via the MSTC-E-procurement platform.

MSTC is a Category I miniratna PSU dedicated to e-commerce activities and the disposal of surplus stocks of scrap metal and scrap from mineral, agricultural and forestry products.

The stock hit its intraday high of Rs. 90 per share. The stock closed at a per share price of Rs. 86.35 with gains of 0.12 percent on BSE.
