Former FHWA Executive Director Tom Everett Joins RS&H
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 07 10, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — RS&H is proud to announce that former Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) executive Tom Everett has joined as vice president of the company’s strategic infrastructure team. engineering, architecture and consultancy. Everett is a longtime veteran of the FHWA, considered the national authority on the development and implementation of highway infrastructure policies and performance standards. Prior to joining RS&H, Everett served as executive director of FHWA since 2018.

Everett was part of the leadership team that helped draft the bipartisan infrastructure bill, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). Prior to becoming Executive Director, Everett served as Associate Administrator of FHWA’s Office of Infrastructure, providing leadership, policy direction, and oversight to guide the administration and implementation of the Federal-Aid Highway program. Everett led key program areas dealing with the innovation, design, construction and preservation of pavements, bridges and tunnels, as well as asset management, transportation performance management and emergency relief.
Everett is a licensed professional engineer and holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rutgers University.
